About this tool

Embroidery designs come in a dozen machine formats, and the desktop programs that convert them cost money or only run on Windows. This page opens and converts designs in any browser, for free.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. Design files are read and written by your own browser and are never sent to a server. The conversion uses pyembroidery (MIT License, license text) running in Pyodide, which is loaded from the jsDelivr CDN.
